The McDonogh Black 校友 Committee exists to encourage and sustain black alumni participation in McDonogh School life, 包括:学生支持, 慈善事业, and alumni initiatives and to assist the school in advancing diversity, 股本, and inclusion within the greater community. This committee works to build and maintain black alumni interest in supporting the McDonogh community through active engagement in alumni events and 慈善事业, and to provide a network of black alumni to support the McDonogh Sankofa Club and all McDonogh students. The McDonogh Black 校友 Committee serves as a resource network for information, 连接, 以及对在校学生的支持, young alumni and parents of 当前的 black McDonogh students. This committee also offers insight, 建议, and strategies to the McDonogh 校友 Association and McDonogh School to foster an inclusive environment that advances racial 股本 and promotes a sense of respect, fairness and belonging for all students and alumni. The Chairperson(s) serves on the 校友 Board and reports activity at 校友 Board meetings.

The DEI Committee works with the 校友 Board and the Association to advance the 理解 and commitment to DEI with the vision that McDonogh School’s alumni have a deep appreciation, 理解, and commitment to DEI both in their work with McDonogh and their personal and professional lives.

The Golf Committee leads the planning and execution of the annual McDonogh经典 Golf Tournament and Happy Hour.

The mission of the McDonogh Fund Committee is to generate financial support for the school from McDonogh's alumni community, both in dollars and in class participation. Our goal is to encourage each alumnus or alumna to give back through the McDonogh Fund, which comprises an important part of the school's budget each year and directly supports McDonogh's students and teachers. Members of the McDonogh Fund Committee are expected to attend at least one phonathon each year. The Outreach Committee comprises two sub-committees: the 社区 Service Committee and the Social Committee.  Both sub-committees are geared towards engaging alumni and encouraging them to participate in alumni and community service events both on and off of campus. There is a real focus on marketing and advertising alumni events through emails, 社交媒体, 还有其他策略. The Chairperson(s) of the sub-committees serve on the 校友 Board and report activity at 校友 Board meetings.

The 社区 Service Sub-Committee strengthens McDonogh's tradition of doing "the greatest possible amount of good." The Committee engages in meaningful endeavors, taking part in existing community service projects or creating new ones to make positive changes at McDonogh, 在当地社区, 在全世界.  McDonogh alumni participate at various levels of involvement: from actively participating, to making a financial contribution, to envisioning and organizing entire events. 

The Social Sub-Committee supports alumni events throughout the year, 包括Eaglefest, 麦克唐纳经典, 麦克唐纳/吉尔曼橄榄球赛, 周末聚会, 和橙色 & 黑色的午宴. The goal of the Social Committee is to increase alumni participation at events, 评估现有项目, and continue to improve social 连接s among alumni.  There is a focus on getting the word out about alumni events.

Each class needs a committee of leaders to rally classmates in honor of their milestone reunion! Volunteers inspire members of their class to both come back and give back to McDonogh by reconnecting with classmates, encouraging attendance at 周末聚会, and requesting financial support for a special class gift to the school. The mission of the Young 校友 Committee is to ensure that the needs and interests of young alumni (graduates from the past 15 years) are met. The Committee develops events to increase participation among young alumni and develops the next generation of alumni leaders.
